Letter from Ms. Conroy:

Dear Eugen/Leadpile,

What a wonderful surprise to open my e-mail and learn that you are investing in the home reading experiences of my young students! The books that you are donating to my kindergarten classroom will play an important role in engaging the families of my students and encouraging literature discussions at home. I can hardly wait to conclude interactive read aloud discussions next year by adding a copy of the book to our classroom library for the students to take home. I can already imagine the enthusiasm as my students read these treasured tales with their families and continue our classroom discussion with them. I'm sure that the families of my students will be equally excited to be part of their child's oral literacy instruction in this special way. Excitement around reading builds success in reading...thank you for helping to create the excitement!
