I think it has great potential. It does have a notice by the logo that it is in the Alpha stage, so I'm sure they are working out the kinks. I thought the content was for the most part presented very well and obviously written by professionals. Though there were a few weak content sections that seemed that they were added by a few users-they had a different feel written in the first person and weren't quite at the same quality level. I'm excited to see the next phase.

Charlie,

It looks pretty busy, you are correct, also things are broken too, in Safari if I go to the "search by keyword" I have to delete everything in the box before I type in my search term, so the click and overwrite isn't working.

Lot of background colors (gray bkg with black text) - hard to read. Load - pretty slow as well. I think cuil.com is probably going to have a better start and they will win more audience with the type of search they are doing.

Have you looked at Life123? It's really a mess. Very busy. Content is weak. You have to click pages (1,2,3), and links are broken on some of those. Other pages look like glorified ads. Speaking of ads . . . be aware that this site is packed with those and many related to other companies owned by ask.com. If you're looking for real information, I'd say - "Go to a real site."
