Social Media for Adults
Twitter has been all the rage the last few months, and now some numbers are being released describing the Twitter audience. Unlike other social media, the Twitter audience is skewing older, and people between 55 and 64 are using Twitter at nearly the same pace as people between 18 and 24. Twitter is a rare example of older people embracing a new Web technology at an early stage.
Twitter traffic is up over 1000% from last year, and it is the 25-54 year old group that is driving the growth. Businesses are increasingly finding ways to jump on the Twitter train. The momentum appears to be only growing, and businesses must engage with this growing audience.

TWITTER, IS IN, EVERYONE WANTS TWITTER, BUT HOW LONG WILL THIS TREND REALLY LAST? MANY “FAMOUS ROLES” ARE NOT EVEN USING THE ACCOUNT THEMSELVES. THEY HAVE THEIR ASSISTANT MAKING THE UPDATES. OTHERS ARE USING IT TO NETWORK, BUT WHO HAS TIME TO UPDATE ALL DAY LONG.
NOT A BIG FAN OF TWITTER!
