What's so cool about twitter? Ask yourself? "Hey guys, this is what I'm doing this very instant" "Hey, here's where I'm at now!", I mean there's not much use other than to allow the public to know what you are doing every minute if of course you update it frequently.

For marketing purposes I could see a benefit to this but most "TWITTER" users are not doing it to market products or services.

Unless, Twitter applies more functionalism and other applications or themes that will entertain the audience they won't be around for too long.
