Spezify.com=Twitter, Amazon, Yahoo, MSN, Ebay & more!

June 16, 2009 By: Mari Woods Holt Category: Affiliate, Lead Exchange

There is a crazy new site that was launched today. Spezify, is a “visual” search site that incorporates sites such as Twitter, Amazon, YouTube, Yahoo and more into one common place. The site does not index any results, but uses information and feeds that have been indexed on these other sites. You can enter a word like “affiliate marketing”, and you will pull up a screen full of “tweets, pictures, and articles about the subject. It has a uniqueness about it that is appealing.
Mediapost.com states that the next steps of this site will be to incorporate music and sound, however incorporating Google search results will not be happening. Google has design “rules” around utilizing their content that will not allow Spezify to use their search results.
Try it out! I tried searching for Leadpile and it was interesting how many different results showed up, versus just doing a search for Leadpile on search engines such as “Google”.
