Today marks a day in history 50 years ago when the first man , Yuri Gagarin went into space. He spent 108 minutes inside a small capsule orbiting over the earth before again landing back on Soviet land. Gagarin’s launch into space was the start of space exploration globally, leading the path for landing on the moon years later.
