In previous years, marketing strategies involved companies utilizing direct mail as a source to reach consumers. However, it seems to be going extinct because of it’s lack of effectiveness and cost. Today, companies are using email marketing and other direct marketing sources as a way to reach new consumers. Many however are still planning on utilizing direct mail as a source to get new clients, however the other source to generate consumer is growing at a much faster pace. The bottom line is, the economy seems to be heading in the right direction, which means marketing budgets can start coming back to now generate more customers. Any other marketing methods that are seeing a downward trend from the economy? Mail can’t be the only marketing method being affected by the nation’s struggling economy? Leadpile is certainly seeing the affects of the economy and it’s traffic coming in, so maybe this is affecting all sources of marketing.

Ok, I may be taking a bit too much credit for this exciting news. Just before the recent holiday, a study came out that said email marketing has taken the lead over direct mail and all other forms of direct marketing. Direct Partners, in their report state that 35% of the companies surveyed use email marketing as their primary form of direct marketing. The study which surveyed companies with revenues in excess of $100 million found that 25% of the companies use direct mail, and 21% of the companies use free inserts for their direct marketing.

Obviously, these companies have found the value and return in email marketing. Email marketing is growing and becoming more accepted everyday. Please let us help you and your company with your email marketing and list management needs. We are presently adding more servers to keep up with the growing demand.

Most of us who have gone to college have at some point taken out a student loan(s). I am not sure if everyone knows that there are a few options in regards to where you can get your student loan? You could take out a student loan from a private lender or a loan from the government (federal loan).
As of July 1st, there are some changes that will affect specifically those Federal Loans that students take out. According to DMNews these changes will affect the amount a student can take out, the potential repayment terms of the loan once they graduate, and the interest rate of those Federal Loans. Even though these changes will only affect the Federal Loans, loans taken out with private lenders could be impacted indirectly at first.
As far as the private loans those have had some great success in the past, because of the large amount of advertising/direct marketing to the college students. Private lenders are great at getting their names out in front of the students. However, less than a year ago some things changed for the private lenders after some government support these lenders would be receive was reduced.
Lead companies and lead exchanges had a lot of success with this lead type, and so did Leadpile. Hopefully, with these new changes to the Federal Loans, the private lenders will bounce back fairly soon. Possibly, this is a lead type that our marketplace can identify a supply and demand for. Time will tell who does the most direct marketing to get those needy students to take out a loan with them.
