November 29, 2010 By: Natasha Aronov Category: Lead Exchange

The incentive we give out to people we work with is the key for their success and ultimately for ours. It’s the same with your publishers as it is with your team members. Having good communication, a positive attitude and giving people an opportunity for growth will give you ten times more in return.

People “like” on Facebook

August 10, 2010 By: Nicky Category: Lead Exchange, Social Networking

lead exchange People like on FacebookCompanies and products have been buying people to “like” their pages on Facebook hoping to bring in as many customers as possible. The ability for people to “like” something was replaced by the previous “fan” option. One of the companies topping off the list of “liked” Facebook pages for their company is Starbucks with 11.8 million “likes”. They even offer a way for the customers to keep track of their spending as an incentive. Other companies/products with an abundance of “likes” are Coca-Cola with 9.6 million, Oreos with 7.9 million, and Skittles with 7.8 million.

While some companies are going out of their way to accumulate as many “likes” as possible, others are only interested in quality customers. Mike Corrales, Vice President of BillMyParents says,

“I would rather have 2,500 real, authentic people than have 250,000 fake ones”.

There are so many different social media outlets today, making the potential for new customers easier to reach. On the same note, quality traffic is something that is more difficult to come across. Leadpile focuses on the best quality traffic for consumers.

Buy VS. Rent?

April 19, 2010 By: Natasha Aronov Category: Financial, Lead Exchange, Mortgage Homeowner Leads

financial Buy VS. Rent?If you are currently renting, you may occasionally question if you are able to buy something for similar cost – and right now, this might be possible. According to the associated press, the gap between monthly rent cost and mortgage payments is at its lowest level in almost 20 years!! If you are able to purchase by April 30th, you may also qualify for the tax incentives. Incentives for buying a home include capital gains deductions for property taxes and loan interest as well as diversifying your assets, builds equity and provides a means of forced savings as you slowly pay down the principal.

With the potential to appreciate in value owning a home can seem like a win-win situation, however there is also a flipside that owning a home can bring hefty and unexpected repair bills and there is no guarantee that the value will go up.

Weighing the pros and cons of buying vs. owning is something everyone has to figure out for themselves but if buying is an option for you, it might be a great time to take advantage!

Convenience On A New “2D” Level!

September 30, 2009 By: Natasha Aronov Category: Lead Exchange

Have you ever received a coupon or incentive via email and then forget about it or lost track of it because you didn’t print it right away? Good news! JCPenny has selected a handful of it’s stores to test mobile coupons.
According to ONLINE MEDIA DAILY, 16 JCPenny locations installed “2D” capable scanners at registers that have the capability to read the barcode off the coupon directly from consumer’s cell phones with email capabilities. Customers can download a free application at cellfire.com/jcpenney or by texting “JCP” to 28888 from their cell phone.
JCpenny will be promoting several different incentives to test this during the holiday season. Pending the results of this trial, JCPenny will possibly expand this feature to additional stores.
“Ten million digital coupons were redeemed in the first six months of 2009, up 25% from a year ago.” For the high percentage of Blackberry and iPhone users that have their phones within reach every moment of the day, this could be potentially a great new thing! The incentive to use the coupon could be much greater given that printing, saving, and finding the coupon could be a thing of the past!

What Motivates Bloggers?

August 18, 2009 By: Mari Woods Holt Category: Lead Exchange, Social Networking

In past years, many journalist were worried about taking too many incentives to write about something specific. These days now the FTC is bringing to everyone’s attention the fact that many bloggers could be writing about something because they were receiving kickbacks. The FTC (Fair Trade Commission) is trying to make it regulated that if you are receiving any rewards for blogging about a particular subject matter, that you fully disclose this to your readers. It seems that this attempt to regulate could move into social networking sites such as Twitter too. We have all heard about one of the most “famous” bloggers – Perez Hilton, but is he being paid by someone to blog or Tweet about certain subject matters? I would think so…
In this day someone’s time and opinion really matters, so should it be wrong to be able to accept “things” in order to talk about them? In the day of regulations with insurance companies, real estate and many other industries, governing gifts received in order to render a service is against the rules. However, should this sort of thing really apply to bloggers? Leadpile likes the opportunity that a blog allows us to talk about certain hot topics and things going on in our industry, however I don’t think any sort of potential FTC regulation will affect our little blog.

affiliate marketing Generating More Business Through Lead Generation

With tough times even in the internet business world, businesses must find effective ways to generate new business. Companies need to see results from their money spent on advertising, so many choose to invest in lead generation.
Businesses could spend an infinite amount of money on PPC and not know what the result could be. Businesses could spend undefined amounts of money on hiring someone to do SEO.
Businesses could purchase “lists” and cross your fingers there will be a response rate that is acceptable.
OR
Businesses can look at lead generation (CPL), where each lead you purchase is a defined person who is interested in their product. There are various ways lead generation companies are generating leads. For example, leads can be generated from things such as surveys or incentives. However, these are not always going to be as targeted of leads, because consumers could be looking at it like what is in it for them? Unlike some other lead generation companies, Leadpile Lead Exchange is working with ONLY consumers who are opting in for a particular product of service. This end result means a lot more targeted consumer,  and a much bigger chance the lead will convert to an actual sale.  What should businesses choose?
Marketing dollars are down, so this requires a strict focus on making the most out of what you spend on marketing. Businesses can’t afford to pay for random non targeted ads, unopened e-mails or wasted clicks. CPL pricing models allow businesses to get returns on every advertising dollar they spend.  Tough times are not just affecting consumers, it is affecting businesses all over the world.  Businesses are fighting over every last potential sale because they are becoming far and few between!

A New Way to Sell Homes?

June 16, 2008 By: Andy J. Category: Lead Exchange, Lead Marketplace, Mortgage Homeowner Leads

HouseI saw a news story last week that reminded me of something else I had recently read on Andy Jacob’s SuperCloser that I had to check out. Mr. Jacob stated that he read in the LA times a story about a San Diego Developer that was giving away a house in Escondido to whoever purchased a house in the San Pasqual Valley.

Ironically I then heard an ad on the radio about a Phoenix builder, giving away a Toyota Prius if you purchase “green” home in Queen Creek, Arizona, or in a 55+ community in Peoria, Arizona. No other upgrades just a new Hybrid car.

There was then a man that was trying to sell a 2 million dollar home. As an incentive he partnered with a local BMW dealership to let the buyer choose 1 of 6 of their $65,000.00 BMW’s, and the homeowner was going to pay for it.

These are all genius ways to get their names out there to the public.  These stories have been done in the news or on the internet in hopes to generate some interest in selling some homes in this slumping housing market. Is this a new and creative way to generate interest in selling a home?  Other ways of selling the home were not successful?  I guess the logic is the more people talking and reading about this interesting scenario, the more their name or brand will get out there to people who may not have heard of them. Free advertising? …….or is it really desperate measures to get rid of a home that would not sell any other way?  I will say one thing:  very creative!  They caught my attention.
