Twitter Increases Returns On Email Marketing?

June 25, 2010 By: Monica Vo Category: Lead Exchange

A recent study indicated that the use of at least three social media options in email marketing campaigns lead to a 55% higher click-through rate.  The interesting thing is that only about half of email marketers are adding some sort of social element to their email campaigns.

The real ROI comes in the shared messages of these type of campaigns. Messages that included a sharing option generated 30% higher click-throughs than emails without the social sharing links.  Three or more generated 55% higher click-throughs.  Twitter alone showed a 40% higher CTR than without a sharing link.  Twitter appears to be the most popular option at 67.2% of all social emails with Facebook coming in a close second at 62.7%.

Think about it, you send an email to a million users in your email list.  If 55% of the users that click through your message and share it with their 130+ friends on Facebook or followers on Twitter, imagine how much ROI you are getting on that email campaign without any additional cost!  Folks, time to start A/B testing!

Businesses, Social Media and Leads

June 24, 2010 By: Mari Woods Holt Category: Financial, Lead Exchange, Lead Generation, Social Networking

Many companies use social media to generate more clients (consumers), however b2b companies are seeing that there might be some benefits with social media. Tweeting and posting status updates is a way of life with most consumers these days, however actual businesses online and “tweeting” is not necessarily as popular. Some are looking at maybe incorporating social media as a way to generate potential leads for their business. That being getting more consumers to their business or even trying to attract other businesses to their services. Companies like Dell target consumers, but now are looking at using social media to attract other businesses to utilize their products and services. This is something that many would not consider in previous years, however many are seeing that there could be some opportunity with social media. DMNews is reporting that places such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn can also be a source for business to generate leads. So I guess if you are a business looking for more clients you might want to look at setting up accounts with Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn soon, rather than later!

Leadpile is working with some b2b lead types and believes that there are ways that businesses can also look to the internet as a source of leads.

Update: WI Governor Signs Payday Loan Bill

May 19, 2010 By: Mari Woods Holt Category: Lead Exchange, Microlending Leads

Payday loan lenders are not going to be happy with the Wisconsin governor because of a recent bill he just passed. Unfortunately, this governor felt the need to pass a payday loan bill that will put tighter restrictions on the payday loan industry. In addition, he even threw something in the bill that is also going to put restrictions on the auto title loan industry too.
Each of these states putting more and more regulations on payday loans is going to leave consumers with no resources to help them. Where are consumers going to go now, in order to get help with small unexpected bills that come up?

Will Toyota & Honda Recalls Impact Booming Auto Industry?

February 10, 2010 By: Mari Woods Holt Category: Lead Exchange

Just when we thought the auto industry was headed in the right direction, a recall happens with Toyota…. then another recall.. then another recall with Honda. I don’t know about you but this is scary for the auto (finance) industry that we very much work in. Going to a dealership was like going to a ghost town, and then things finally started getting better. This shake up with Toyota, and now Honda, could not have come at a worse time. The struggling auto industry was finally heading in the right direction, and then this all happens. The ironic thing about the recent recalls is the fact that the two companies now in the news were the ones that stayed out of the negative lime-light in the last few years. Kudos I guess to our nation’s automakers for already having gone through the “bad” part of the auto industry hiccups, but gosh when is the auto industry going to get a break? Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that the auto industry keeps moving forward, not backwards! lead exchange Will Toyota & Honda Recalls Impact Booming Auto Industry?

Positive News For Auto Industry: Ford Has Profits

January 31, 2010 By: Mari Woods Holt Category: Auto Financing Leads, Auto Lead Exchange, Financial, Lead Exchange

auto financing loans leads Positive News For Auto Industry: Ford Has ProfitsThe auto makers have been in the news lately with the Toyota recall, and now some positive news from Ford. A couple negative years of profits seems to have come to an end with Ford Motor Company. MSNBC is reporting that Ford actually had a profit of 2.9billion dollars for 2009. That’s HUGE for an industry that has had so many struggles. Ford avoided bankruptcy, unlike it’s US competitors, so how did they squeeze out a profit for 2009? It seems that the Ford Credit division helped the overall bottom line.
One thing I hope continues to move in the right direction, and that is people continue to still look to purchase cars… and more importantly they go online!

New Payday Lending Laws In Washington

January 04, 2010 By: Mari Woods Holt Category: Financial, Lead Exchange, Lead Generation, Microlending Leads

As of January 1st 2010, a new payday lending law was imposed in Washington. “The new law limits the size of a payday loan to 30 percent of a person’s monthly income, or $700, whichever is less. It also bars people from having multiple loans from different lenders, limits the number of loans a person can take out to eight per 12 months, and sets up a database to track the number of loans taken out by people.” This will be something that lenders will now have to pay attention to.
Leadpile will be watching the status of Washington and payday loans, because we work with publishers nationwide, and we will be interested in any legal changes that happen in this particular state.

The Future Of Wi-Fi Is In Our Cars!

December 29, 2009 By: Mari Woods Holt Category: Auto Lead Exchange, Lead Exchange, Lead Generation, Technology

Believe it or not Wi-Fi is going to be available in cars in the near future (2010 to be exact). Many of us need to go to coffee shops or other public places that allow us the convenience of getting internet access, however it seems that Ford cars are going to be starting to install WI-FI capabilities in next years models. This will be possible with the SYNC system who is partnering up with Microsoft. Consumers will then be able to utilize their laptops in their cars wherever they want!
The advancement of technology is so amazing. Not only can people use their cell phones to access the internet, now they are going to be able to sit in their cars and be on an actual laptop when needed. So will something like this maybe impact the lead generation world, where more people can potentially fill out online forms such as Leadpile’s Microclick form on a website? I think so!

People need cars whether they are in Canada or the US, and we are looking to match them with dealers.
We are seeking new publishers to generate this lead type and also additional buyers that are working in Canadian auto leads. If this is something that you are looking at doing, please contact us!!!
