This blog made a good point about students not being able to get a payday loan. A payday loan is based on a “payday”, and the only way a person can get a payday loan is to have that loan linked to a “pay day”. How can a student get this type of loan if they do not work, like many other students?
Predatory lending is very much something that can be controlled by the consumer, if they ask a lot of questions and make sure they know what they are doing. Students or not students, payday loans are something many people need, and lenders will not give a loan to someone if they do not have a “pay day”.
