We may be getting some assistance in the elimination of these bad leads.  Large companies have already been fined for tricking people into signing up for subscriptions by offering &#8220;free&#8221; ringtones.  Now Google finds itself in federal court for allegedly showing pay-per-click ads that mislead searchers into signing up for paid subscription services.  Even if Google persists in court, let&#8217;s hope the lawsuit and the other punishments already handed out will further erode this unreliable lead type.</p>
