There are a many companies that are bringing in business through their website that they can not work for one reason or another. If someone has some technical background and desire to run a website(s), they can generate leads for themselves and maybe to sell. These companies ideally should look to selling these leads in a lead exchange. Lead exchanges allow companies to bring in various lead types to one common place, and allow various buyers to potentially buy the leads. This allows the sellers to set up integration on their end to only filter out leads that they did not specify want to keep in house. Performing this integration allows a lot more “custom” lead generation to be done instead of doing some other sort of affiliate marketing link on their website. Monetizing one’s website is a common goal of companies with websites, however possibly some do not know all their options.
So, why a lead exchange and not just sell it to a “standard” lead company? Lead exchanges, such as Leadpile, allow the sellers to integrate and real time post the leads in the marketplace to sell. This gives them total control over the leads and maximum exposure. The integration does the work of filtering out what to keep and what to send off to sell. If one wants to simply sell the leads to an end user or “standard” lead company, you have to do your homework and try and find the best buyer of the leads. This requires a lot of work and sometimes take more work than what it is worth. The company generating the leads could be spending more time taking care of the excess leads, versus providing the service they are in business to do.
If a company is just looking to monetize their website, affiliate marketing has been a traditional way to do that. One company hosts the other companies links on their website, and they get paid for the leads that are generated from that. This concept works great, but working with a lead exchange like Leadpile, it allows you total control over all aspects of the lead generation. Do you want to know all the details down to the number of people that clicked on the form and not just see “complete” leads that you got paid on? Yeah, of course you do! You want to know as much as you can about the traffic that you are bringing to your website. Affiliate marketing- great tool, but you will ultimately earn more money with a company like Leadpile. Excess leads? … send them over to a lead exchange!

Welcome to the Leadpile Lead Exchange Exchange! Our blog about everything Leadgen, lead exchanges, lead marketplaces, affiliate marketing, and lead industry news.

While Leadpile is at the forefront of the Lead Exchange/Lead Marketplace Industry, there are many interesting things that are continually going on within the LeadGen Industry. It is for this reason that we invite all interested parties to participate in making this a great place for information, thoughts, and exchange of ideas.

As you may already know, Leadpile believes that the Internet LeadGen space has been a bifurcated marketplace for too long. This is the reason why we have built Leadpile’s centralized Lead Exchange and Lead Marketplace the way we have. Simply put, the system places buyers and sellers of leads to engage in the business of doing business…fast, simple, and easy.

At Leadpile, we believe that Lead buyers should have access to the highest number of quality lead sellers in one simple to use location. And, we believe that Lead Sellers want access to the world’s strongest lead buyers, who will bid for their quality leads.

We welcome all of our friends, competitors, business associates, and Lead Marketplace and lead Exchange participants to participate here.

Thank you in advance:

Andrew Jacob and Florin Ilie; Founders, Leadpile Lead Exchange/Lead Marketplace
